We have an exciting permeant opportunity for a Stock Control Assistant to join the Warehouse Department at Hay-on-Wye. Working across both the office and warehouse environments, the working hours for this position is Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm.

Main purpose of role:
Undertake a review of the accuracy and physical presence of all Material Inventory held at Brecon road, Forest road and Talgarth sites, by way of conducting Perpetual Inventory counts generated within the JDE system. Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies as identified. To control, co-ordinate and facilitate the removal of all disposition materials from site in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Main responsibilities:
Create and control all documentation, processes and procedures associated with the Perpetual Inventory counts established.
Investigate any identified variances as a consequence of these counts and report findings accordingly.
The processing of reject materials for disposal in line with requirements.
Liaising with our approved Waste Management Supplier with regards to the exchange of compactors and the uplift of waste materials.
Maintaining the area in the vicinity of the Compactors to an acceptable level of compliance.
Process all identified Disposition Material though the JDE system, oversee the physical collection of these materials and prepare for removal from site.
Liaise with our approved Waste Management Supplier and co-ordinate the collection and disposal of materials through the correctly identified channel (secure shredding or incineration).
Conduct or assist with specific Customer Inventory count requests and investigate any variances.
Appropriately archive samples.
Assisting with and reporting on any Stock Investigations or Deviations related to PI counts or Disposition Material movements.
Take care of own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do). Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
Assist with other general warehouse activities or administrative duties required within the Department as identified and authorised by the Stock Control Coordinator.
Work Experience and Skills Required (essential):
A good level of computer skills is required.
Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Dependable, reliable and self-motivated.
Enthusiastic and flexible in approach and ready to assist and support all other areas of the Department.
Work experience, qualifications and skills required (desirable):
Competent in the use of all Microsoft system process’s and JDE process’s.
Experience in Warehouse and Freight Haulage operations including specific handling and storage constraints associated with the Pharmaceutical products.
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain operations and Freight Forwarding process’s.
Maths and English minimum GCSE A-C equivalent.
Regulatory/Industry Responsibilities:
