Food Warehouse Operative

Salary: £13.26 per hour (£27,572 per year) plus excellent company benefits

Shift details: working Sunday - Thursday from 09:00am until 18:00pm, with an element of flexibility required during peak season

40 Hours per week

Bicester, Oxfordshire

We’re currently looking for Food Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.  M&J (Sysco GB) Seafood CPU Depot is the leading food service supplier located in Bicester, Oxfordshire.  Join us in preparing, packaging, and checking a range of chilled and frozen fresh seafood ready for distribution direct to the caterer nationwide.   

As a Food Warehouse Operative you will be handling and preparing various food products primarily fish and spend most of the day on your feet.  You can expect working environment to be in a temperature controlled (chilled) environment – don’t worry we’ll give uniform to keep you warm!  Were keen to find someone who is looking to learn new skills we have available an amazing opportunity for the successful Food Warehouse Operative to be trained with fish mongering skills in the future from Industry Professionals. 

To join us you’ll need to be computer savvy confident of keeping records of stock for audit purposes with an great attention to detail.  Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment and basic food safety knowledge would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.
