We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Air
& Ocean Freight Forwarder to join our new team in Normanton, West
Yorkshire. You’ll help businesses worldwide manage their logistics efficiently
and cost-effectively.
Role Snapshot & Responsibilities
As an Air & Ocean Freight Forwarder, you'll
be responsible for managing Air and Sea freight shipments, ensuring compliance
with customs regulations, and providing excellent customer service. You’ll be
at the core of our logistics operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and efficient
transport solutions for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating shipments of goods by air and sea, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients,
providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues. - Preparing and processing import/export documentation and
customs compliance through the Customs Declaration Service (CDS). - Liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring shipment progress and quickly resolving delays or
issues. - Maintaining accurate records of all
transactions using CargoWise software.
Who Are We Looking For?
You’re someone who thrives in the fast-paced logistics
world, handling Air and Sea freight with precision. You’ve got a knack for
problem-solving under pressure, strong customer service skills, and a proven
track record in freight forwarding.
