You’ll be working with a variety of businesses and individuals, ensuring their shipments get where they need to go, on time, and within budget. It’s a role for someone who loves solving logistical challenges, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great service.
What you will be doing
- Plan and coordinate road freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries while staying compliant with regulations.
- Act as the main contact for customers, suppliers, and agents, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Manage all shipping documentation and logistics processes, from negotiating rates to booking transport and tracking shipments.
- Monitor costs, solve logistical challenges, and provide performance updates to management
Who Are We Looking for
You know logistics, especially when it comes to road freight. You’re the kind of person who stays calm under pressure, finds solutions when others see problems, and works well with a team to get things done. You’re also a bit of a dealmaker, always on the lookout for the best rates and ways to keep costs down. Did we mention that you love a
good bargain?
In your application, we hope to see:
- Experience in road freight forwarding or a similar logistics role.
- A good grasp of road transport regulations and customs procedures across Europe.
- You’re comfortable using logistics software and the usual Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in English; if you speak any other European languages (like French, German, or Dutch), that’s a big plus.
- Relevant logistics and transportation certifications are a bonus.
