Full Time HGV Hookloader Driver Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Full Time HGV Hookloader Driver to join our team. The successful candidate must have a valid HGV license and must be proficient in HGV Driving, hookloader, Waste Management and have a minimum of 1 to 5 years' work experience. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all HGV vehicles are operated safely and according to the relevant regulations and laws


• Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe for use


• Loading and unloading items from the vehicle using the hookloader


• Maintaining records of all deliveries and collections


• Ensuring that all Hookloader and HGV equipment is maintained and serviced according to manufacturer's recommendations


• Responsible for the safe and efficient management of waste materials


• Liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times


• Ensuring that the highest levels of safety and security are adhered to at all times

Requirements:

• Valid HGV license


• Valid CPC


• Proficient in HGV Driving, hookloader, Waste Management


• At least 1 to 5 years' work experience


• Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment


• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures


• Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as required
