What would you do as our Machine Operator?


Operate heavy machinery to tolerance and profiles determined by our customers and obtain production goals.


 


You would also:



  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture door frame components according to production specifications and blueprints.

  • Operate press brake and shear machines to shape and cut metal components, maintaining precise dimensions and tolerances.

  • Use spot welding equipment to assemble door frame components as specified, ensuring secure and precise welds in accordance with safety and quality.

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately produce components to required dimensions and standards.

  • Inspect finished components and assembled door frames for defects, dimensions, and alignment. Ensure that all work meets company and industry standards.

  • Perform routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and preventive maintenance on assigned machines to ensure peak performance and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work area.


 


The Skills and Experience you need:



  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and/or experience.

  • 3+ years of experience as a machine operator, particularly in metal manufacturing.

  • Door frame production environment is a plus.

  • CNC machine experience is required.

  • Hands-on experience with press brakes, shear machines, and spot-welding equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

  • Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures in manufacturing.

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed to meet production goals.


Compensation: $27.00 to $28.50 an hour depending on experience
