POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic ADL Warehouse team as a Material Handler, where you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials from receipt to delivery. In this role, you'll be hands-on with all aspects of material handling—receiving, moving, counting, and delivering—while keeping safety at the forefront. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by driving continuous improvement initiatives, operating essential lifting equipment, and managing our inventory with precision. If you're a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, computer savvy, and excel in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Handle all material movements while adhering to health and safety procedures, including FIFO organization and timely kit delivery.
  • Manage shortages, modifications, and inventory through auditing, real-time MRP transactions, and safe lifting equipment operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas, operate storage units efficiently, and rearrange warehouse spaces as needed.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects, 5S duties, and root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
  • Process inactive, obsolete, and returned inventories, and support general store activities as directed.
  • Collaborate with the planning team, maintain Excel shortage reports, and manage work orders.
  • Ensure KPIs are met, including on-time part location, kit picking, shortage resolution, stock accuracy, and efficient goods processing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate, specifically in business MRP system & Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use handheld scanners
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Lifting equipment license as required – forklift, order picker, PPT
