Job Description

Salary: Β£26,130 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (6am till 2pm)

We are looking for someone to join our fantastic team in Cleckheaton as a Production Line Leader. The role essentially is to organize the day-to-day activity of the area team whilst carrying out area duties and implementing the necessary checks and balances to ensure the quality of output

  • Delegation of daily tasks and line positions
  • Ensuring start up checks are carried out
  • Escalating issues within the production line to Team Leader/Production Manager
  • Ensuring components are available at the line and that set up requirements are in place
  • Ensure all members of the team understand roles and responsibilities, including the safeguarding of colleagues and product quality
  • Ensure that all members of the team support new colleagues regarding integration, area orientation and learning the job

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Numerical Ability to record, analyze and interpret data
  • Technical – GMP
  • Technical knowledge of operation of line machinery

Skills

  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Proficiency and fluency of English language (Oral and Written)
  • Ability to work quickly and multitask
  • Able to coach and train others

Experience

  • FMCG Manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of delegating work to others on a daily/weekly basis
  • Experience of coaching and training others
