Our Client having offices in United Kingdom is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager the opportunity is based in Maidenhead, UK

Purpose:
To upholding the quality and uniformity of the programme and project delivery. This individual will assume the responsibility of design and implementation of quality assurance policies and protocols, performing meticulous audits, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement, and the comprehensive oversight of our entire quality management system.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the quality aspects of the programme and projects; the development and implementation of a programme level quality framework including programme management plan.
  • Define the quality requirements for each project delivery phase in line with programme and business requirements, ensuring they are captured within the procurement processes for each work package.
  • Monitor and report on programme performance against contractual requirements and quality performance targets.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager with the review of supply chain quality submissions during procurement process.
  • Assist the Risk Manager with the identification and management of quality related risks.
  • Assist the Planner to ensure critical internal and external quality dependencies are highlighted within each of the projects.
  • Assist the Information Manager to ensure documentation is recorded appropriately in the information management system.
  • Develop and deliver quality training and inductions as required.
  • Monitor the implementation of quality processes against the contract requirements, and compliance by suppliers/vendors/contractors; provide specialist advice to the project teams as required.
  • Develop and implement quality reporting processes including collecting, collating, and analysing quality reported data from the Supply Chain and combining with project quality data as per the reporting regime on the project.
  • Report on Quality issue when they occur.
  • Work collaboratively with the integrated programme team to become the principal point of contact for all quality related issues and manage and monitor continual improvement by acting as the central focus for lessons learned exercises, suggestions & feedback for the various projects and across the Programme.
  • Develop and implement a programme level risk-based audit schedule to assure adherence to processes at both project and programme level.
  • Conducting audits of suppliers’ quality management systems and compliance to programme quality requirements using standard audit procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of common issues arising from non-conformance and reported metrics, identifying preventative measures to the programme and project teams and report on implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Educated to diploma or degree level (or equivalent).
  • Good Knowledge of principles of Risk, Quality, Quality Management and Quality Control.
  • Effective knowledge and application of quality management systems.
  • ISO9001 auditor training qualification.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good knowledge of management principles and project controls through the delivery life-cycle.
  • Experience in development and implementation of tools and techniques in a programme and project environment.
  • High level of knowledge current industry standards and regulations.
  • Experienced in implementation of digital control tools.
  • Knowledge of key project controls and processes such as design, procurement, tendering and project delivery.
  • Working knowledge of the construction, consultancy, and mining industries.
  • Report writing skills.
