We have a closely knit team of experts who have a strong attention to detail and willingness to think differently. We are looking for someone to join our Operations team at SURI, helping us build a strong and efficient supply chain.

We have an immediate opening available for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing our global logistics and fulfilment operations to maximise efficiency and productivity. They play a crucial role in order management as well as developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, carriers and our 3PLs as well as ensuring on time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics:

  • Freight Negotiation & Bookings: Negotiate freight rates and sea freight optimisation, and maintain effective communication with suppliers and freight carriers.
  • Inbound Management: Oversee deliveries into 3PL and incoming shipments, and regularly reconcile all stock locations to ensure accuracy.
  • Import and Export Documentation: Stay up to date with current regulations, both UK and internationally.
  • System Updates: Ensure WMS are optimised and set up to support expansion whilst ensuring accuracy at the current period of time.
  • Projects: Support with NPD product launches and other business critical campaigns

Fulfilment:

  • Order Management: Oversee wholesale, retail, and Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) orders.
  • Shopify Order Management: monitor all DTC orders, working closely with customer service to solve problems, update orders when needed and ensure timely dispatch.
  • Compliance Review: Review and manage non-compliance issues and chargebacks, ensuring orders meet retailer and partner requirements.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain strong working relationships with commercial teams and other internal departments.

Inbound and Goods Receipt (GR) Management:

  • Managing Inbounds: Manage inbound shipments and ensure timely goods receipt (GR) processes.
  • B2B Orders: Monitor B2B orders and track KPIs.
  • Issue Resolution: Track, manage, and follow up on any issues related to inbounds or order fulfilment.

Packaging:

  • Stock Monitoring: Oversee packaging stock levels to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure packaging materials arrive on time to avoid disruptions in fulfilment processes.
  • Special Projects: Participate in or lead special projects related to packaging or logistics efficiency improvements.

E-commerce:

  • Shipping Management: Manage shipping rules, holiday calendars, and order fulfilment settings.

Platform Management: Work within Shopify and Blade (Warehouse Management System) to manage orders, shipments, and inventory efficiently.



Requirements
  • 4 to 6 years experience in international logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain management
  • US and Europe supply chain experience preferred
  • Management experience essential
  • Solutions driven problem solver
  • Strong organisational skills and project management
  • Great attention to detail and capable of multitasking
  • Experience with inventory management systems (Unleashed preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with freight negotiations and booking processes.
  • Experience of setting up 3PL locations
  • Ability to manage multiple orders, track shipments, and handle B2B relationships.
  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred) and WMS systems like Blade.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Excellent in excel
