Warehouse Administrator

Howdens Joinery is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join the Warehousing team at Howden to provide administrative support, supplying accurate information to a range of departments and individuals, to ensure the smooth running of the business. 

Shift Pattern:

14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday

What will I be doing as Warehouse Administrator:

  • To prepare orders for picking and dispatch, using WMS 
  • XDC Allocations and shortage resolution 
  • Creating pack configs for NPI and SKU setup 
  • To collate KPI information on a daily/weekly basis 
  • Handling daily requests from other departments and resolving queries 
  • Coordination or Paint to Order, orders through JDA and ensuring they are managed onto loads
  • Raise and process Indirect Procurement orders in the SAP in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the housekeeping of JDA transactions
  • Collate all weekly operational bonus information and communicate to payroll and external agencies
  • Ensure Nil pick information is recorded accurately to measure STR 
  • Ensure trackers are kept accurate and up to date 

The role will see you working collaboratively across multiple teams when system issues or process issues are identified, or updates/changes need implementation. These teams include CI team, IS, Goods In, Picking, Dispatch, and RTM. 

What will I need to qualify for the Warehouse Administrator:

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • A working knowledge of WMS, ideally JDA, SAP R3 system BW reporting
