Smith Brothers Farms, a leading producer and deliverer of milk to homes, schools, and business in the Puget Sound area for more than 100 years, is seeking Warehouse Associates to join the team in Kent, WA.

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management & colleagues.
  • Must be able to use a pallet jack (or use one once trained).
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift (or use one once trained).
  • This is a union position. Must join Teamsters Local 117.
  • This is a safety sensitive position. We do preemployment drug tests, including THC.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks and responsibilities in cold conditions (36 F cooler or freezer)

General duties/responsibilities:

  • A General Warehouse employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as follow all instructions as given by Manager/Foreman.
  • Corrugate for Cruise Ships/Charlie’s/Dairy Fresh.
  • Pick Orders.
  • Unload Trailers.
  • Case Wash Room.
  • Assist with all dayshift tasks.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Work cooperatively with management & colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work area.
  • Secure all equipment when not in use.
