Essential Job Functions:



  • Assist in the organization of work crews.

  • Direct and supervise the accurate and timely completion of all departmental records relating to the plant & warehouse processes.

  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained in company policies and safety.



  • Responsible for housekeeping of the general work area.

  • Observe all Company work, safety and GMP policies and procedures.

  • Unload, load, transfer, and britestack or finished goods and supplies from trucks, etc.

  • Interpret shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded.

  • Ability to stack and unstack pallets of product in rows up to 5 pallets high.

  • Checks product for quality, and proper shipping information.

  • Complete daily inspection of vehicle before operating, corrects any low fluid levels.

  • Operate lift truck in compliance with all operating procedures.

  • Track, input, change, and update data of inventory.

  • Complies with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.


 


Qualifications:



  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to make quick decisions, organized, and attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead and train personnel.

  • 1 to 3 years in experience in an industrial setting.

  • Requires a minimum of a High School Education or equivalent.

  • Ability to pass the Seneca Forklift certification test.
