Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team at our Central Distribution Warehouse in Kettering.

Salary - £25,000 plus bonus

Type – Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The ideal candidate must be a strong team player with good attention to detail and a great attitude to work.

The main objectives of the role are to use material handling equipment (MHE) and bespoke machinery to pick, cut and load flooring in a safe and timely manner and to always ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times.

Other key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that our health and safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Picking, cutting, loading and putting away stock
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
  • Monitoring goods entering and leaving the warehouse
  • Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled and stored safely, neatly and correctly
  • Processing waste streams into recyclable and non-recyclable bales
  • Carrying out housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse
  • Ensuring stock and warehouse security

Key Requirements:

  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Great organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely under tight deadlines
