What does a day look like for you here? 

As our Warehouse and Logistics Operative, you'll be at the core of our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods through our warehouse. In this role, you'll be deeply involved in all standard warehouse functions, from receiving and labelling stock to order picking, stock control, and despatch. You'll unload vehicles, carefully check consignments, and ensure that all items are accurately labelled and stored.

Your attention to detail will be essential in identifying and reporting any faulty or incorrect stock, while your organisational skills will keep orders moving efficiently to their next destination. You'll also play a crucial role in despatching orders, ensuring that all outbound consignments are labelled correctly for smooth carrier operations. Operating a forklift safely will be part of your daily routine, along with conducting safety checks and maintaining a tidy, secure working environment.

You'll be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy through regular counts and investigating any discrepancies, ensuring that deliveries are accepted and processed with precision. Each day, you'll have receipted all inbound stock into the system, and you'll ensure that every despatch request is correctly routed and completed in line with expectations.

Your role will be vital in keeping our logistics operations running smoothly and efficiently, making you a key member of our Operations team!

Safety is paramount, you should be safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a secure working environment, with the ability to operate a forklift safely and adhere to all health and safety guidelines. You should be reliable and dependable, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

You should also have:

  • Clean driving licence (required)
  • Current FLT licence (preferred)
  • Proficiency in using a PC (required)
