Warehouse Operative- Coldstore 

Warehouse Operative shifts patterns:

Monday to Friday

(40 hours) 8 hour shifts 13:30 – 22:00

£15.32 per hour (Inclusive of shift allowance) + Bonus + Benefits

apetito's continued expansion means we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our Coldstore freezer Warehouse team.

You'll be trained to use our voice picking system to pick orders for care homes, hospitals and education settings as well as products for our sister-brand Wiltshire Farm Foods.

We work to strict delivery deadlines so being efficient and able to meet deadlines is really important.

As a Warehouse Operative working in the coldstore, you'll be provided all the PPE to keep you warm and safe in the freezer, which runs at -23 degrees.

• Loading stock for bulk storage. 
• Picking and assembling orders in our coldstore, which is  -22/25 degrees, with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
• Replenishment of empty pick locations.
• Loading vehicles for delivery.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in all areas.
• Reporting all issues such as Health and Safety concerns, stock quality problems, and mechanical breakdowns.
• Ensuring product value is protected through proper storage and minimal exposure to ambient temperatures.

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative (or similar role)
• Good team working
• Able to work to deadlines
• Comfortable working under pressure to meet the demands of a high speed and high frequency factory ‘picking’ environment
• Willing to learn new skills
• Open and honest
• Reliable 
• Flexible and adaptable to take on tasks as needed
• A “can do” approach

Desirable

• Temperature controlled warehouse experience
• Experience of SAP/Voice picking systems
