Job Title: Production Operative



Shift: 3 days on 3 days off


Pay: £11.53 - £12.10


Working Hours: 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00


Location: Wellingborough 


Job Description:


Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are currently hiring Production Operative to join our team in Wellingborough. As a production operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. This is an opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, committed to quality, and ready to work in a fast-paced setting.



Key areas of responsibility: 




  • Responsible for ensuring the productivity and efficiency targets are achieved 

  • To carry out quality control checks in line with the process working on 

  • Ensuring that site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed 

  • Ensuring that all site rules and regulations are complied with 

  • Carry out various hygiene tasks 

  • To be accountable and responsible for their own and others health and safety 

  • Report any accidents or near miss incidents to your supervisors. 

  • Report any injury to oneself, even if this does not prevent work being undertaken. 

  • Suggest safer methods of work by informing your supervisor. 

  • Work with other employees and especially new starters & younger employees, to warn of known hazards or specific activities that should only be conducted by experienced trained staff. 

  • Use correct tools for the job in hand. 

  • Keep tools and equipment in good condition. 

  • Wear PPE as instructed


 




Qualifications and Skills:




  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting.

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus, but not required, as full training will be provided.
