Your Role
The purpose of the Warehouse & Packing Manager role is to manage and lead the warehouse and packing operations on site and ensure that all bagged products are packed, loaded and distributed efficiently and safely through to our customers. This role is a key management role within the company and will liaise directly with all other functions within the site.

Your Responsibilities
  • To undertake and promote excellent Safety & Health standards within warehouse and packing environments ensure all staff comply with company procedures and lead by example by promoting a strong ‘safe or we don’t do it’ culture.
  • Management of the facility to ensure the areas are maintained to high standard and good liaison with engineering team to highlight any defects.
  • Manage WMS ensuring operator compliance.
  • Liaise with Central functions to enable effective planning of the picking and loading of customer orders.
  • Promote a strong clean as you go ethos and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.  
  • Maintain accurate stocks of products, ingredients and materials at all times while meeting WMS compliance.
  • Liaise between Packing, Distribution, Weighbridge and Warehouse team to ensure the daily requirements are achieved on time and in full.
  • Identify training needs and action accordingly to ensure continual development of the Team.
  • Carry out regular performance reviews with all staff and maintain records and objectives performance through MyADM.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are being achieved at all times.

Your Profile
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures
  • Proficiency in inventory management software
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • IOSH qualification is desirable but not essential
