Babcock is looking for a Warehouse Store Person to join the team on the Devonport Naval Base.

As a Warehouse Store Person, you’ll ensure critical supplies are received, maintained, and delivered to support national defence operations. Every day, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our inventory and logistics running smoothly, handling stock with efficiency, and collaborating with various teams to meet tight deadlines.

About you

 

You are detail-oriented, experienced in warehouse logistics, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You’re comfortable with inventory systems like SAP or IFS and excel at meeting deadlines. With a forklift license and proven ability to manage stock efficiently, you’ll ensure smooth operations, from receiving to dispatching items. You’re a self-starter who can work unsupervised, with a strong safety-conscious attitude and a keen eye for detail, ready to contribute to a vital supply chain.

 

Key Required Skills

 

• Inventory management systems (SAP/IFS highly regarded)


• Forklift operation (with F endorsement)


• Stock control and logistics


• Strong customer service abilities


• Safety-conscious work approach

 

Essential Required Qualifications

 

• Full driver’s license


• Forklift license with F endorsement
