Job Description

Warehouse Team Leader | Nights 6pm till 6am | 4 on 4 off | £16.74 per hour

Based at our Warrington Fulfilment Centre, as a Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing a team, ensuring procedures are being followed, and role-modelling our Gousto Ownership Principles. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of operational Key Performance Indicators including On time in full, Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular Mechanical Handling Equipment audits, managing the output in partnership with the on site MHE trainer
  • Production of shift reports and reporting on shift statistics
  • Supporting individual performances through coaching and mentoring, and supporting with the role of of employee engagement surveys and actions
  • Ensure compliance of Health and Safety regulations
  • Escalate employee relations cases to relevant stakeholders, taking responsibility to resolve any escalations as first point of contact
  • Working closely with the engineering, production and planning and supply chain teams to help drive performance and deliver KPI’s

Who You Are

  • Ambitious and self motivated
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Experience of leading a team in a fast paces FMCG environment
  • Experience conducting formal investigations and leading return-to-work interviews

Qualifications

  • Previous certification/experience of competence with Mechanical Handling Equipment
  • Warehouse Management Systems - preferable JDA
  • Experience working with Radio Data Terminals
  • Experience in automated fulfilment
