GD UK Door Services supply & fit specialist door's. With 20 engineers in the field, the apprentice warehouse operative role is vital to ensure the engineers receive equipment required to carry out installations & repairs. This is not a basic warehousing position, its varied & the training will give you a great grounding for a Warehousing career.
You will be based mainly in the Stores department working alongside experienced staff.Most of your work will be manual &will include
- picking from an order sheet
- ,packaging for dispatch,moving and handling,receiving goods,
- labelling and preparing trade orders.
- You will also be trained on the computer system where you will be booking goods in and dealing with stock control activities.The job is varied and interesting.
Requirements
You must be able to commute daily to our Derbyshire premises.
