Data Warehouse & ETL Design Lead

We are looking for an experienced and capable application designer to design changes to the CDS application suite.

ConformedDataStore (CDS) is an Inmon data warehouse which conforms, quality checks and consolidates data from a number of disparate underwriting systems. After some additional enrichment processing CDS feeds the ledger and reserving systems and also feeds internal and regulatory reporting requirements.

You will be expected to:

• Be the “Technical Owner” of CDS, and set the strategic direction of the application suite
• Work with Application Architects on changes that span the wider Enterprise Architecture
• Design changes to CDS for “CDS only” changes
• Provide functional and technical guidance to CDS team on implementation of application changes both functionally and technically
• Provide “quality assurance” of CDS releases – ensure ABS IT are implementing releases that have been properly tested to “protect” production
• Provide support to AISE CDS product owner for changes to AISE CDS as required
