Job description


Missions:

Logistics (goods physical flow):

Organise and secure deliveries in quality and due time from our factories and supplier’s workshops to the UK.

Monitor the progress of key Marine AIL deliveries: internal progress, kick off meetings, reviews with the client.

Update our Material Delivery Profile.

Define a return policy (from Site to any of our Factories or supplier’s workshop).

Manage the project’s Standards in Logistics domain: Ensure procedures and processes adequacy and updates.

Contribute to commercial process to handle and sell the variations that are requested or needed by the client.

Produce reporting both internal and to customer: meetings, KPIs…

As a budget holder, monitor expenses (costs & hours), manage the periodic financial review with Project Direction (twice a year) on Logistics scope, and review the Risk & Opportunity register.

Handle Export Control licence regular check and update

Logistics (ERP data flow):

Ensure all necessary data are processed accordingly with the needs and the physical flow.

Take the role of Supply Process Owner and develop it.

Participate to the governance of the end to end Supply Process (catalogue management, purchasing, procurement, shipment and reception).

Become a SAP key user and bring support to other users acting on Supply Process

Accompany change by tutoring and educating, grow the Tool & Data culture.

Build a continuous improvement approach and behaviour on Supply Process both physical and data: collect and record issues, improve documentation, identify areas of progress and facilitate implementation of change.

 Interfaces and management:

Management (indirect report) of operational back-office logistics teams located in France.

Management (full report) of ERP officer (full time based on site – to be recruited).

Management of SAP material data coordinator (part time SAP contractor based in France).

Interface with all Project Supplier Managers and back-office Supply Chain (catalogue management, procurement, logistics…) to secure efficient processing of goods and related data in ERP.

Interface with Warehouse team: handover goods to and inform about transfer between warehouses.



Profile


Skills and experience

·  Engineering Degree or significant Supply Chain qualification or background.

·  10 years of experience in Supply Chain operations or implementation.

·  Good knowledge and experience of ERP implementation and operation.

·  Project, results and solution oriented.

·  Ability to influence and drive change in organisations.

·  Demonstrated professional oral & written communication.

·  Motivation and ability to work in project mode and team environment.

·  Proactive and able to cross borders to propose innovating ideas.

·  Ability to handle multiples interfaces and transversal organisation.

·  Dynamic, willing, and versatile professional.

 

Desirable

·  Knowledge of transport (LGV/HGV/AIL – road / marine)

·  Experience in Export Control

·  Experience of international and multicultural environment.

·  Ability to work and interact in French.
