Nova Talent are working with a leading UK manufacturer that works within global market within the retail sector, that is experiencing continual growth. We are working together in sourcing an experienced Machine Shop Operator with the ability to set up and operate a variety of machines and produce parts according to drawings.
Some of the benefits you will receive as a Machine Operator:
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm

What we are looking for in a Machine Operator:
Able to read manufacturing drawings.
Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Understanding health and safety.
Understanding quality control.
Good knowledge of machining.
Duties of the Machine Operator to include, but not limited to:
Operating a variety of machines such as CNC routers, lasers, diamond polishers, pin routes and saws.
Checking drawings and materials are correct before cutting.
Checking of all machines to make sure they are working correctly and ensuring safety.
Maintaining housekeeping in a machine shop is crucial for ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Implementing knowledge of materials and machine procedures.
Work as a team, with a positive can-do attitude and willing to learn the business.
Always ensuring health and safety.
