Job Summary

Processing Operative – Forklift Truck Driver/Packing Operative

Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: £28,472 (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

Monday to Friday: 2pm – 10pm (permanent afternoons)

The job role:

• Operate a Forklift in a safe manner to load products onto lorries from the warehouse

• Use bagging equipment to fill large bags ready for dispatch

• Use of other mobile plant equipment – front end loading shovels

• Meeting production targets

• Carry out site cleaning and promote good housekeeping practices

• Follow health and safety guidelines

You will:

• Hold Full and valid driving licence

• Possess a Forklift licence for at least 12 months

• Understand health and safety in the workplace

• Have the willingness to learn and drive other mobile plant equipment (front end loading shovel)

• Possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
