Quality Assurance Manager  


£40,000 to £47,000 plus great benefits and a company car (Work Level 6A) 


Manchester City Centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home, the office and visiting our suppliers (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy). 


 


We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Own Brand Team here at Co-op. In this role you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end quality process for Co-op Brand Products within your category. You’ll work alongside suppliers and drive quality performance, as well as collaborating with our internal teams to set the position and manage the ongoing quality of own brand products. Ultimately, we’ll look to you to work across the supply chain to make sure our quality standards are met and delivered for our customers and member-owners.


 


What you’ll do



  • Make sure work is prioritised in line with delivering our Co-op Own Brand Strategy 

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end quality of our Co-op Own Brand product range 

  • Collaborate with supplier sites, depots, stores, and our head office teams to review quality and prioritise resource within your category 

  • Make sure resource is directed to the right places to deliver the expected quality through the end-to-end supply chain

  • Build strong relationships with the store and depot operations teams to make sure we are communicating key messages relating to quality procedures 

  • Monitor compliance of our Co-op Own Brand products against our quality assurance standards 


 


This role would suit people who have



  • Experience in a quality focused role, whether technical or development 

  • The ability to challenge when quality standards are not met 

  • A passion for quality and food 

  • Experience managing both internal and external partners and creating successful relationships
