What is great about this role?

As a Support Quality Assurance Manager, you will assist senior and operational managers in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant services. Your role will involve overseeing the Quality Assurance Framework within Support, helping Pobl deliver exceptional, person-cantered services to those in our care. Additionally, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging reflection and learning throughout the organisation.

This is a particularly important role with an array of important responsibilities including:

• To lead on an agreed programme of planned, thematic and responsive audits.


• Monitor and support the delivery of our Quality Assurance Framework, working with Area Managers and Managers to produce consistency and embed a culture of continuous improvement.


• Supporting the Senior Management Team in the programme of policy and procedure reviews and complete and undertaking reviews personally when required.


• To keep abreast of relevant legislative, regulatory and sector developments in order to provide current and relevant advice and guidance to operational teams.


• Support the delivery of quality assurance reports and annual reviews in conjunction with operational teams.


• Undertake investigations and produce reports into adverse incidents as re-quired (e.g. complaints, safeguarding alerts).


• Support the Area Managers and Assistant Directors with the development and implementation of quality improvement plans for services with significant quality challenges


• Monitor and report on progress against recommendations following internal and external inspections, audits and monitoring reviews.


• Monitor and report on key performance measures relating to the quality, safeguarding and compliance.


• To work with the Safeguarding Lead and oversee the safeguarding reports and data for Support. To provide safeguarding reports and insight for the SMT and contribute to reports for the Safeguarding Committee.

• Salary: £50,059.00


• Contract type: Full-time, permanent


• Location: Flexible working policies – Our offices are Newport & Swansea where our team meetings take place. Time can be spent at home, in the office and at our various support sites across Wales as and when needed. Your base will be either Newport or Swansea, dependant on which is closest to your home location.
