Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for a:  Relocations Warehouse Manager


 


Location: Ruislip, West London, HA4


 


The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overall administration of all warehouse activities and operations of clients’ documents, household goods, or cartons storage and retrieval.


They will work closely with their supervisor and participate in different shifted duties when called upon.


Key Responsibilities


General Tasks



  • Ensure all necessary measures are undertaken to ensure security of customer and company property.

  • Manage the storage of customer possessions in a manner that maximizes the utilization of the facility and ensures efficiency of operation.

  • Monitor and maintain the site Health and Safety keeping all the records are up to date

  • Ensuring all staff are trained with the necessary health and safety training for tasks undertaken.

  • Ensure all paperwork is sent to Operations and Move managers within 24 hours of completion of the move.

  • Undertake daily FLT checks and report any defects.

  • Updating storage locations.

  • Manage the incoming and storage of items within the ETSF area.

  • Crew Cost sheets processing.

  • Monitoring time sheets and scheduling of staff to cover incoming and outgoing consignments.

  • Cross charging for Service Partner materials

  • Monitor Material stocks and recording of supplies (i.e. Uniform, Materials and Equipment)

  • Regularly review the condition of storage containers

  • Overseeing the loading and offloading consignments to and from containers within the required timescales and ensuring that the paperwork is completed accurately including volumes condition.

  • Adherence to Health & Safety requirements of warehouse facility & reporting any deficiencies to the Branch Manager.

  • Provide support and information to facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse.

  • To assist in upskilling of warehouse operatives

  • Undertake casing and car shelf installation.

  • Provide high quality customer service.

  • Complete other duties as directed by the Operations  Manager.

  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.

Professional Skills & Qualifications


Qualifications



  • 2+ years industry experience - Household goods/ Relocation logistics within a warehouse environment

  • Reach Truck (FLT) Licence

  • Secondary education certificate

  • Proficient in Microsoft package

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a potentially rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines.

  • Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressured environment.

  • Confident can-do attitude and a willingness to support stakeholders in effectively doing their job.

  • Solution oriented approach to problem solving and decision making.
