We are looking to hire a Trainer – Warehouse Management Systems to work across our network of UK sites.
Our Special Operations teams support the implementation of Lineage preferred warehouse management processes and systems. The special ops team consists of teams of managers and capability leads, will break down operational processes in detail, and work between warehouse operations, project management and IT to support the implementation of Lineage preferred warehouse management systems.
Working within a high performing team of specialists; you will be an expert in office and you will use your expertise to support the warehouse operation onsite by developing and delivering training; and helping to stabilise the new warehouse solution.
The role can be based anywhere in the UK; regular travel to our locations across the UK should be expected. Some travel to the US/Europe for training and learning may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Capability Lead Office Trainer will need to be the subject matter expert (SME) in all things relating to stock, office admin, KPI’s and order processing in an 3PL environment
Work with the onsite teams to audit the existing stock integrity and accuracy of stock on our systems alongside the procedures in place and help implement recommendations. This should include ensuring site teams follow critical receipt & dispatch processes
Create stock office admin standard work instructions and procedures ensuring consistency across office operations
Devise the training plan and ensure it is adhered to ensure timescales are met in relation to Go Live
Responsible for on site training in advance of and critically during go-live ensuring site independence and adherence to process
Work as part of a team with the warehouse and inventory capability leads to ensure findings are shared, documented and actioned
Reviewing existing KPI’s and ensuring that Customer requirements are exceeded during the conversion process
Due to the nature of the business at times you will be required to support ongoing operations as needed
Key requirements for the position:
Detailed knowledge of order entry/receipt process
Ability to troubleshoot customer master setups
Expert understanding of drivers of shortages and discrepancies in order processing, inventory controls and stock availability
Proven track record of making office operations run efficiently
Can set up all aspects of billing
At least 5 years’ experience as a Stock Office expert
Has a passion for training people and be able to adapt to meet the needs of the group
Experience in implementations within the stock office of a 3PL environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Advanced IT skills
The ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time, especially in the run up to Go Live
