The site

The Macclesfield site is our second largest manufacturing site and the largest UK based campus, from which our medicines are manufacture, packaged and distributed to over 130 countries globally. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join our business.

Responsibilities

You will meet the individual manufacturing and supply chain requirements for the control, preparation and supply of raw materials, components and intermediates to other teams within UK Operations.

You will also handle the removal, control, export preparation and dispatch of finished products from Macclesfield to Customers worldwide.

The Warehouse Associate will be involved in several activities across the area which will include:-

  • The receipt, control, storage and movement of materials in line with relevant SOPs

  • Prompt and accurate checking of materials and associated documentation

  • Preparation and delivery of Packed sales stock and waste to appropriate locations

  • Preparation and handling of samples/Registration samples

  • Completion of inventory management activities, underpinning stock accuracy

  • Working shift pattern as below:

3 week rotating pattern.  Early shift – Late shift – 7 days off work.

Sunday - Day Off

Monday - 6.00 – 15.00

Tuesday - 6.00 – 15.00

Wednesday- 6.00 – 15.00

Thursday- 6.00 – 15.00

Friday - 6.00 – 15.00

Saturday - 6.00 – 18.00

Wednesday- Day Off

Week 3

Sunday - 6.00 – 18.00

Monday - 14.50 – 23.30

Essential skills

  • Experience in warehousing/stock movement/handling

  • GMP awareness

  • Attention to detail

  • Awareness of Safety, Health and Environmental principles

  • Recent FLT driving experience (minimum last three years)

Desirable skills

  • Previous Pharma Warehouse Experience

  • Knowledge and application of SHE principles

  • Experience of FDA / cGMP or other regulated quality system

  • Experience with interacting with Automation – AGV’s and Conveyors

  • Experience with lone working

  • Proven problem solving skills

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of SAP IT systems
