We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our warehouse team at the Coldstore site in Luton
You will play a key role in providing guidance to the operation on targets and plans, ensuring that there is consistency in operational procedures and disciplines, whilst also ensuring this is a great place to work.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working on a Sunday – Thursday shift pattern, covering 22:00 – 07:00 hours.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Maintain and improve Customer service levels to consistently achieve or exceed agreed targets
  • Ensure100% stock integrity is maintained and identify areas of improvement
  • Drive financial performance and exceed all cost metrics for the shift and department
  • Ensure any routine queries raised are dealt with promptly, with serious issues being directed to the General Manager, this includes operational and personnel issues

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in leading large teams in a logistics and warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of WMS (warehouse management systems)
  • Excellent team-building skills, you’ll be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
  • Proven ability to work to strict deadlines with an ability to prioritise your own workload as well as your teams’ workload
