Warehouse Team Leader wanted in Bury St Edmunds

PAY: from £14.28 per hour (+ £0.53 per hour with high reach FLT license)

Hours: 5:30am - 5.30pm

DAYS: 4 on 4 off Shift

Direct Table Foods is recruiting for a full-time Warehouse Team Leader to join its team in the Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

Support the supply chain strategy in managing operational functions and achieving KPIs. The Supply Chain Team Leaders are accountable for their area and the teams assigned to them. They focus on the day-to-day management of the amalgamated Supply Chain.

Duties include:

Provide proactive leadership and support, controlling all functional demands, processes, and procedures
As part of the leadership function, ensuring people are engaged, focused, developed, and delivering to their full potential
Report to supervisors and management where needed
Clear communication with operational staff to ensure smooth running of the Supply Chain department
Champion health and safety on-site

Skills & Experience required:

WMS (Warehouse Manufacturing System) experience
Experience in coaching and mentoring a team to deliver results
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent leadership skills: communicate in a calm, assertive manner to clear objectives, provide feedback, suggest improvement for individual performance, coach and confirm competency
Can prioritize and work within tight deadlines
Can build a united team with an empathetic approach and first-class capability
