As the Warehouse & Yard Supervisor, you will ensure a safe and reliable operational environment. In this role, you will execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities. You will be responsible for receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, physical inventory verification, accuracy and the delivery of inventory to customers.

As Warehouse & Yard Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:

• Leading, supervising and coordinating Warehouse & Yard operations across 2 sites in Aberdeen

• Ensuring site maintenance is up to date, machinery is certified, and all aspects of risk and safety are prioritised
• Ensuring productivity and process quality of warehouse operations, reducing controllable expenses, contract labor spend, and covering HSE, logistics and shipping processes.
• Managing and coordinating communication between the project managers, global supply chain, the logistics teams, workshops and offshore operations
• Ensure that the companies global inventory verification targets are met for each area and are compliant with policy
• Maintain training records of WH&Y employees
• Raise Purchase Requisition’s for any spend required, within budget requirements
• Holding daily meeting, forward planning, setting objectives and incentives to ensure teams are fully informed and motivated
• Development of direct reports through the competency WH&Y programme

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a proven track record supervising personnel in a warehousing, distribution, logistics or supply chain environment
• Have experience in the oil and gas sector or similar environment that is fast paced, industrial and high risk
• Demonstrate good problem-solving and analytical skills to work on own initiative and make informed decisions quickly
• Show good communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
• Be proficient in SAP and Excel
