Factory Opportunities: Team Leaders & Process Operatives  (Permanent roles with immediate start)

At Kinnerton Confectionery in Fakenham, we have several permanent opportunities at our chocolate factory for Factory Team Leaders and Process Operatives to join our production team on either our day or night shifts.

 









Responsibilities






Team Leaders are essential when it comes to ensuring the smooth running of production at Kinnerton Confectionery, holding responsibilities including:

  • Supervising Teams: Leading teams of Production, Process, and Mixing Operatives to achieve critical targets in safety, efficiency, quality, and hygiene.
  • Quality Assurance: Overseeing and ensuring the completion of all quality checks and related documentation to maintain our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Ensuring that all team members are well-trained, fully aware of their duties and responsibilities, and consistently performing at their best.

Process Operatives work on our fantastic machinery, holding responsibilities including:

  • Machine Operation and Maintenance: Efficiently set up, operate, and maintain food production machinery, ensuring it meets the highest standards of hygiene, volume, and quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to uphold our commitment to producing top-notch chocolate products.

 

Shifts/ Pay Rates: dependent on experience

4 on 4 off days: covers 7 days a week. 4 days on and 4 days off. 1 hour break in total. 6am-6pm.

  • Grade 3 £12.50 per hour
  • Grade 4 £12.88 per hour
  • Grade 5 £13.26 per hour
  • Grade 6 £13.86 per hour

4 on 4 off nights: covers 7 days a week. 4 days on and 4 days off. 1 hour break in total. 6pm -6am.

  • Grade 3 £13.75 per hour
  • Grade 4 £14.30 per hour
  • Grade 5 £14.87 per hour
  • Grade 6 £15.99 per hour

For both day & night roles your starting grade will depend on experience. Both roles have a 30 minute unpaid and 30 minute paid break.

These roles are ideally suited to individuals with experience in a manufacturing environment.

The Kinnerton site in Fakenham produces chocolate products for some of the biggest retail and confectionery brands in the UK and can offer you the chance to build your skills and experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team and help us create delicious chocolate products that are sold in leading retailers across the country.
