Forklift Driver

Job Description

We're hiring a Forklift Truck Driver for ongoing temporary work at a site near York.

Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour (Increase after successful completion of probation to £13.82 per hour).

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Daily Duties:

• Operating a forklift truck to move stock and materials
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Working within the coldstore department
• Transporting products between production and storage areas
• Stock rotation and replenishment
• General warehouse and yard duties as required
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe

Requirements:

• Have either a Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence.
• Must be reliable and hardworking
• Own transport essential (site is not accessible by public transport)
• Willing to work rotating day shifts
