Grosvenor TimberWorks is a new commercial forestry venture – based on Grosvenor’s Rural Estates at Eaton in Cheshire – bringing together a progressive and sustainable approach to woodland management with the processing of innovative timber products, combining a dedication to traditional methods of wood craftsmanship with a long-term commitment to UK forestry.
Currently we manufacture bespoke construction timber products and are in the process of developing new specialist product lines from our state-of-the art facility, Hatton Heath Mill.
The main purpose of the role is to work in the joinery shop to produce solid wood flooring, kitchen worktops, joinery grade hardwood and construction grade softwood.
The Joinery Workshop Machine Operator will report to the GTW Operations Manager who will provide direction, support and feedback through regular meetings and will plan weekly work and monitor tasks and their quality.
The Joinery Workshop Machine Operator has a key role helping to set up GTW and in establishing excellent standards, productivity, efficiency, and safety.
