WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
While working under the direction of the Director of Operations – Promotional Products, the Embroidery Machine Operator will embroider all necessary promotional items.

  • Ability to work 2nd shift (3pm to 7pm, or 3pm to 11pm) Part-time and Full-Time option available currently
  • A mechanical aptitude
  • Prior embroidery experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Set up machines (load embroidery logo file) to start a job.
  • Control and adjust speed and thread tension based on logo and garment fabric.
  • Clamp or "hoop" garments and load on embroidery machine.
  • Check the thread to be sure it is moving freely.
  • Test sewing of a logo to use as a customer proof.
  • Fix thread breaks, replace thread bobbins, replace spools of colored thread.
  • Move completed garments to shipping team.
  • Check embroidered clothing for mistakes or flaws and make adjustments learned during training.
  • Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 1-3 years of embroidery experience required
  • Requires a high school diploma and/or
TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY
  • Ability to use a computerized system to record operations.
  • Ability to operate and trouble-shoot embroidery machine.
