Are you passionate about Training within a manufacturing environment ? A great opportunity has arisen for a Factory Trainer to join an established Food Manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, good benefits and training and development opportunities. The role is site based in Thirsk  but you will be expected to travel to the Cheshire area as part of the role

As Factory People Trainer, your responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with People Development and Operations Managers to plan and deliver training on company’s policies and procedures
• Liaise with People Development Team and Operations Managers to ensure teams are fully trained and competent in all relevant training
• Assist with full training cycle and updating employee training aids/manuals, SOPs to ensure H&S and Quality compliance
• Support the People Development team with the Learning Management System
• Coordinate / deliver employee inductions
• Supporting new employees across the business, including regular check ins, 1:1 training and mentoring

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role and experience in a production environment within a production line. Experience from the food manufacturing sector would be an advantage. You should have experience of delivering a full training cycle and must have worked in a production environment. You should also be IOSH qualified or working towards. The role would suit someone who can initiate and drive change and improvement to deliver results

This role offers a competitive salary £30,000-£32,000 DOE and working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm 40 hours, one week in three would be a late start/finish  and you must be prepared as part of the role to travel to the Widnes site to provide training
