As our Forklift Operative, you will assist in facilitating the accurate and efficient flow of goods throughout the facility, while ensuring that all actions comply with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policy.

- Full UK driving license
- Experience as a Forklift Operator within a manufacturing facility
- Be able to demonstrate genuine interest in working in the manufacturing industry

More about the Forklift Operative role…
- Unloading vehicles carrying inbound goods.
- Locating goods into cantilever racking.
- Consolidating goods to create space within the racking.
- Picking raw materials for production lines.
- Wrapping finished goods and preparing for despatch.
- Picking finished goods for dispatching.
- Loading finished pallets on outbound vehicles.

- Accurately completing all relevant movement paperwork.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Reporting near misses and unsafe activities/incidents.

- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
- Ensuring all logistic activities are carried out efficiently and safely.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Maintain facility presentation including tidiness and organisation of storage areas, clearing general debris and ensure compliance with the housekeeping policy.
- Distribute tipping skips to working areas and collect when full.
- Maintain stock accuracy - 99%.
