GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for operating multiple pieces of computer-controlled equipment and machinery, ensuring production and quality goals are met. Coordinates activities on the production line consisting of 5 or more employees. Responsible for operating machinery such as: Steinemann, Panfaux, Automaton, Sheer, Collator, Tape Layer, Sakurai, and Laminators (Burkle).
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all machine and process procedures on an automation line, and understand the technology
- Responsible for maintaining production metrics while maintaining the required Quality standards
- Managing the machine operations team, choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
- Communicate written and verbal skills are a necessity to program the machine based on the model or blueprint.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Basic math skills
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and comply with all safety, company policies, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrate reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, safety regulations.
- Organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
