Davin Industries has earned an enviable reputation as an industry leader in precision sheetmetal fabrication and contract batch manufacturing. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for a Machine operator at their Harewood site
This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established sheet metal fabrication company and be part of a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am-3:40pm
You will be responsible for operating press brake machinery
to fabricate sheet metal components to specification. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, take measurments and a commitment to producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Measure items with acccuracy
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Work independently and within a team to meet production deadlines
- Troubleshoot minor machine or production issues as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Previous experience as a Press Brake or similar manufacturing role
- Experience setting up and or operating machines
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings/take accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills
