Machine Operatives

The Role:

Our well established client in South Luffenham is currently looking for manufacturing staff to be trained to run their thermoforming & CNC machines. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills as full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and monitor production – training will be provided
• Loading and unloading of machines

• Maintaining machinery.

• Performing quality checks to minimise non-conformance

Person Specification:

• Previous experience within an engineering environment advantageous but not essential
• Ability to operate machinery
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work on own or as part of a team
• Ability to get to South Luffenham
• Comply with health and safety procedures and policies to ensure the role is carried out without risk to self and others.

Hours and Pay:

• Hours: 37.5
• Rotating shifts.

Earlies 05:30 - 13:30 Monday to Friday

Lates: Monday - Wednesday 13:30 - 23:30 Thursday 13:30 - 23:00 Friday off

• £11/hour inc. shift premium
• Overtime after 37.5 hours @ £13.76 on Saturday & £18.34 on Sunday
