Working as part of our Inchinnan team is rewarding in numerous ways. We have the unique opportunity to support both the Bioscience (BID) and Bioproduction (BPG) divisions in our shared mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The BID and BPG divisions are at the forefront of developing solutions for both upstream and downstream manufacturing, continuously improving product quality through innovative technologies. From our base in Inchinnan, we serve research institutes, contract manufacturing organizations, clinical laboratories, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Our extensive portfolio, which includes cell analysis, gene expression analysis, buffers and cell culture media, analysis, assists these entities in accelerating the commercialisation and large-scale manufacturing of new or existing biotherapeutics.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

Join our team as a Material Handler II and make a significant impact by efficiently picking and packing customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your attention to detail will ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time, supporting our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

A Day in the Life:

  • Adhere to SOPs and GMP Compliance: Perform warehouse duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Embrace Continuous Improvement: Fully engage with our Practical Improvement Program (PPI) and 5S methodologies.
  • Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate essential equipment, such as Counterbalance and Reach trucks (valid licenses required).
  • Utilize PC Skills: Use in-house software packages for daily picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Maintain Regulatory Records: Keep accurate records to comply with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and SOPs.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain mechanical equipment efficiently.
  • In-Process Checks: Perform necessary in-process checks to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Housekeeping Standards: Ensure that housekeeping standards are consistently met.
  • Adaptability: Be supportive and adaptive to any changes in processes or procedures.

Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling materials.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated and driven to deliver.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Forklift Operation: Valid forklift truck license.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with relevant systems (E1, Trax, Agile) and intermediate Excel skills.
