  • Manufacture Cell Culture Media for use in the biotech industry that is scientific in nature by carrying out chemical processing of raw media through to final packaged product using semi-automated packaging equipment. following established protocols and instructions.
  • Audit the Cycle Count Program for the sites ensuring accuracy and accurate valuation of site perpetual inventories. Coordinate and assist with physical inventories, as needed.
  • Able to investigate and resolve Not on Location (NOL) missing items.
  • To accurately Pick UK and Export Shipments from the relevant warehouses using the Pick Lists provided. Reporting any items that do not appear acceptable.
  • Packs all samples for transport accurately to ensure physical and thermal integrity.
  • To participate in the collation of Export Shipments and ensure Shipments are loaded accurately and all paperwork is completed in.
  • To have a good understanding of Third-Party Systems, such as Courier services, MSDS.
  • Handling of fine chemicals either in bulk quantities or prepacks in accordance with CEM (Chemical Exposure Management) regulations. Ability to follow simple instructions without deviation.
  • To maintain good stock levels of all consumables required in your working area and understand the procedure for its requisitions
  • Proactively engage team members to ensure product or process issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
  • To maintain up to date records and paperwork necessary to the role.
  • To ensure full compliance with site Security policies.
  • To comply & conform with the environmental and quality policy, procedures and with the requirements of the IMS (Integrated Management System) & QMS (Quality Management System) and act appropriately with regard to issues affecting impacts on the environment and conforming to product requirements.
  • To operate any equipment and conduct your day to duties according to current procedures and appropriate Health and Safety precautions.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities on site.
  • To perform any other duties as may be required within the remit of the role

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A good general education, including verbal and written English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are vital.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong team building skills and the proven track record to work with a diverse group of people to develop credibility and forge proven and positive professional relationships with peers and management.
  • Must possess strong analytical problem solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way. Must be able to apply principles of logic to define areas of opportunities collects data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Sophisticated PC skills, with emphasis on spreadsheet skills andΒ ERP/MRPΒ experience.
  • The role does not require travel.
