The candidate will need to have a good understanding of adult social care, how services are delivered and the challenges it currently faces. A team player, good communicator, report writer are key attributes to the role. The Performance and Quality improvement Team is a busy working environment. Officers are out visiting providers across the city on a daily basis, following up on actions, undertaking audits, supporting safeguarding’s, dealing with complaints and report writing are just a few of the key tasks, the main aim of the team is to continue to develop and make improvements in social care provision at all times.
The team uses a number of tools to support its work, including bespoke auditing tools, the collection of KPI’s, understanding data, speaking to citizens and staff in care the care sector are all things that happen across the city on a regular basis. The Performance and Quality Improvement team is the key relationship holder of all 300 adult social care providers and come with a high level of responsibility
