This role is to oversee the delivery of warehouse performance against key performance measures. To oversee the development, motivation, and engagement throughout the Warehouse to deliver high performance.  To challenge unacceptable behaviours and drive high standards amongst the team.  To identify and proactively drive continuous improvement opportunities and initiatives.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for driving and successfully delivering the Warehouse Business Plan, ensuring that all inbound, outbound, and internal activities are efficiently managed. The role requires a strong, visible, and active leadership presence to support Supervisors in driving performance, mitigating risks, and implementing recommendations to secure both short- and long-term operational success. The manager will define and utilize weekly reporting mechanisms to monitor and improve performance, chair weekly performance review meetings, and communicate relevant information to the Operations Manager (OM).

A strong focus on promoting a culture of health and safety is required, working closely with Supervisors to mitigate risks by implementing new processes and corrective actions. The Warehouse Manager will assess skill gaps in line with operational requirements, identify training needs, and evaluate the associated costs and job grade implications. Collaboration with the OM and HR is essential in managing talent and succession planning to ensure a sustainable future. The manager will work closely with the OM to determine resource requirements in line with operational needs, gaining approval for additional resources, such as overtime or agency staff, while staying within budget constraints.
