ROLE DETAILS
My client is a busy and innovative small group of 3D printing professionals. Their goal is to supply quality components to automotive and industrial sectors.
They are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for optimizing processes to ensure smooth operations.
This role will play a critical part in supporting our production team and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to their customers.
EXPERIENCE
- Manage and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping operations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize workflow and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, ensuring proper stock levels are always maintained.
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies for manufacturing.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records and identify discrepancies.
- Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repair activities to ensure all warehouse equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
