YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for handling all duties pertaining to the processing, organising, and packing of incoming and outgoing goods according to established warehouse guidelines.

Duties will include:

  •  Collating and processing orders on internal IT systems both for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by forklift truck.
  • Liaising with production with regards to timeframes and deadlines.
  • Picking and packing service kits and distribution throughout workshop.
  • Packaging pumps for dispatch.
  • Unpacking pumps received from customers.
  • Making sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly.
  • Stock taking.
  • Carrying out health and safety checks.
  • Promoting and developing relationships with key contacts throughout the business.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure excellent service.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  •      Previous experience in a warehouse role.
  •      FLT license is essential, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
  •      IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook) with previous experience of working on multiple  platforms, previous experience of using stock management software is preferred. 
  •      Experience with D365 would be an advantage
  •      Previous knowledge of supply chain management would be advantageous.

  • You will have the ability to follow detailed work instruction, and execute same to a high level of professional workmanship, with high attention to detail.
