Here at Americold Whitchurch we are now recruiting for a 3 Warehouse operative for the night shift to work on the Bay and the Blaster

Essential Criteria

• Previous warehousing or manufacturing experience (essential)
• Forklift operating experience. (desirable)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
• Flexible and open to change
• Excellent verbal communication skill

As a Warehouse operative you’ll be loading and unloading trucks as required and transferring pallets from Loading Bays into relevant rooms and locations.

You’ll be receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners and following all relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

It is vital that all our staff always adhere to the company HACCP plan around food safety, and it will be expected that as a Reach Truck operator that you familiarize yourself with company standards and procedures.

Workplace safety is of paramount importance, and it is your responsibility to adhere to company H&S policies and best practices.

Hours of Work

7pm – 7am, (4 on 4 off) and (Monday - Thursday)

Hourly Rates

£11.44 ph, with £110 per week shift allowance

Overtime paid at £17.16 ph
