Responsibilities

1 x Warehouse Shift Supervisor - Full Time, Permanent

Location: Coventry DC

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 06:00-18:00

This is an onsite role at our Coventry DC, CV5 6UQ

 

Job summary:


Major duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily tasks a team to ensure the Warehouse achieves against planned targets and all relevant KPI’s
  • Manage and understand the WMS system
  • MHE – Maintaining and changing of batteries
  • Loading – Freezer/Chill/Dry- Loaded correctly and on time
  • QIP – Making sure that the shift follow QIP guidelines and that daily paperwork complete. Raising product issues with the Quality manager
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • To ensure all cages picked and loaded meet MBUK standards
  • To manage the work area to ensure clean and tidy at all times
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by management
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • To perform any reasonable request from Management

Qualifications

Profile:

  • Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and generate new opportunities for improvement

  • The ability to make good judgments and quick decisions

Technical competencies:

  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Previous management experience in a similar FMCG operation
  • Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level
  • Good performance management skills
  • Previous experience with conducting interviews
  • Experience of managing within a union environment – Desirable
  • Formal management skills, experience of employment law, and HR processes – Desirable
